Shikkoku Oblong

In Japanese, the word Shikkoku (漆黒) refers to jet black, a black so deep that it becomes bright.

Of an extreme accuracy, these pieces require a perfect mastery of traditional lacquer techniques.

The result is a contemplative object located between the mirror and the painting. As time goes by, this masterpiece will reflect you in the dark, and it will patinate itself to reveal all its uniqueness.
